Kelley is an Associate in the firm’s intellectual property (“IP”) and litigation practices. Kelley works on a variety of IP and commercial litigation matters including trademark, copyright and patent infringement, trade secrets misappropriation claims, and other business disputes. She also assists in trademark prosecution and other IP counseling matters.
Prior to joining ND Galli Law, Kelley litigated high-profile First Amendment cases as a Staff Attorney at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. There, she represented clients across the country whose free expression had been violated and challenged state laws that unconstitutionally threated free speech. As a First Amendment advocate, Kelley also authored amicus briefs to the Supreme Court of the United States, spoke to college students about the importance of free speech, and discussed her work in national media outlets.
Kelley graduated cum laude from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2021, where she served as executive articles editor of the Drexel Law Review and published a law review note exploring the intersection of paparazzi photos, copyright law, and social media. During law school, Kelley clerked at ND Galli Law during the summer of 2020 and also completed internships at the Federal Communications Commission and the District Court of New Jersey. She also participated in the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy project, teaching Philadelphia school children about their rights inside and outside the classroom.
Prior to law school, Kelley enjoyed a career in communications and marketing. She spent years working for several large universities, first as an editor and eventually as an assistant director of strategic communications. While writing news stories, creating videos, drafting website copy, and running university social media accounts, Kelley encountered a variety of intellectual property issues that inspired her to pursue law school.
A New Jersey native, Kelley now resides in Philadelphia and spends her free time working out, endlessly scrolling TikTok, and binging way too much reality TV.
