What We’ve Been Up To…

Nicole and intern Shoshana Mahon co-authored the  article “Throwing the Baby out with the Bath Water? Reflections on the Enforceability of Non-Compete Agreements in a Post COVID-19-World,” which was published in The Legal Intelligencer (subscription required). The article discusses how company furloughs and increased unemployment rates could further complicate the enforceability of non-compete agreements.

Nicole will be participating in several webinars in May, including the following:

• The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) virtual spring meeting, where she will discuss “Everything You Wanted to Know About Litigation Funding but Were Afraid to Ask” on May 5 at 3:00 PM;
• A Licensing Executive Society (LES) webinar discussing the proposed draft standard for IP in the Supply Chain on May 6 at 4:00 PM. This is the first draft standard of the LES Standards Initiative, which is in the public comment phase, which closes May 19, 2020. Register for the webinar here;
