Nicole D. Galli focuses her practice on commercial litigation, including all forms of intellectual property (IP) litigation, and IP counseling, especially regarding trade secret protection.
Ms. Galli has litigated, through trial, a wide variety of IP and business disputes for clients in federal and state courts, administrative forums, and arbitration venues throughout the nation. She has worked in both litigation and counseling capacities with clients in numerous industries including medical devices, software, consumer electronics, consumer products, automotive, energy, hospitality, food and beverage, construction, manufacturing and health care. Clients range from individuals and small start-up companies to the largest national and international companies, including a number of cultural institutions and other non-profits. After having spent over two decades in two AmLaw 100 firms, an intellectual property boutique firm, and a full-service regional firm, Ms. Galli founded the Law Offices of N.D. Galli LLC in 2015 to provide clients with sophisticated, first-in-class legal services in an innovative, efficient and customized manner that best suits their business needs.
In addition to her legal experience, Ms. Galli has a long history of giving back to the community and the profession. Ms. Galli founded Women Owned Law (WOL), www.womenownedlaw.org, a national networking group for women owned law and legal services firms. WOL’s mission is to provide opportunities for women entrepreneurs in the law to come together, support each other and help their businesses prosper. With a soft launch in the fall of 2016 that started in Philadelphia with a group of 8 women, WOL has approximately 200 members throughout the United States and has regional representatives in nearly 20 regions.
Ms. Galli is also a member of the American Bar Association, where she is the CLE Officer of the Section of Intellectual Property Law and one of the Section’s Liaisons to the Licensing Executives Society’s IP Management Standards Setting Project, specifically focused on protecting trade secrets and other IP in the supply chain.
